We recently had the pleasure of chatting with Mike to find out his thoughts on what drives him and how he feels about the organization and his team.
In the length of time you have been at KION North America, what accomplishment makes you most proud?
I am most proud of being a valued member of the organization and being a part of its growth over the years.
What do you think makes an employee stand out in an organization?
The ability to successfully tackle challenges head-on in the face of any obstacle.
What motivates you?
There’s a reason I’ve worked at KION North America for nearly 30 years. Working alongside a great team driven to make the organization successful keeps me inspired.
What is it about the culture at KION NA that makes you excel in your position?
Knowing that I have support from any team member within the organization gives me the confidence to excel at my job.
What do you think it takes to be an exceptional teammate?
An exceptional teammate is someone who is always striving for improvement. You benefit yourself and the whole team by actively trying to develop your skill set and continuously looking for ways to improve.
Which KION Group shared value resonates most with you? Integrity, Courage, Collaboration, or Excellence.
Integrity. Being a team member means your teammates need to know they can count on you. Supporting one another towards common goals and having your words follow through with action is invaluable.
Looking to the future, what are you most excited about?
I am most excited to see KION North America’s continuous growth and success. It’s been amazing to see how much we can accomplish.
