In this installment of the Faces of KION North America, we had the privilege to sit down with Kristen Scheidegger, Distribution Management Strategist, and recent Employee of the Quarter winner for Q1 of 2023.
Kristen has been a teammate of KION North America for several years and has had a front row seat in leading many transformative changes for our dealer network.

In the length of time you have been at KION North America, what accomplishment makes you most proud?
Probably the establishment of the Dealer Business Plans. Before, it was very simplistic, and factory-focused. Now, it is more market-focused, with a holistic approach geared toward growing a dealer’s business in a fiscally healthy way and in alignment with KION North America’s growth objectives.
What do you think makes an employee stand out in an organization?
Dependability.
What motivates you?
I strive to do my best, no matter what I’m working on. Producing great work is my motivation.
What is it about the culture at KION North America that makes you excel in your position?
Generally, my work is greatly appreciated, which goes a long way for me.
What do you think it takes to be an exceptional teammate?
Working together toward common goals.
Which KION Group shared value resonates most with you?

Looking to the future, what are you most excited about?
KION North America’s growth has been overwhelming the last few years and I’m excited to see what we do next!
